Objective:

The objective of this training is to allow users to perform 3D inspections using GD&T visualization and analysis tools in PolyWorks|Inspector™ and enhance their understanding of GD&T. This training also covers the datum reference frame system.

Skills to be acquired :

  • At the end of the course, trainees will be able to :
  • Data management with PolyWorks|DataLoopTM
  • Data to reference registration with or without CAD model
  • Geometric and dimensional tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Multi-part analysis
  • Review of inspection results and reports
  • Advanced measurement tools
  • Introduction to macro script language

Public :

Operators, Technicians or Engineers concerned with the use of PolyWorks|InspectorTM as 3D inspection software for portable probing and non-contact scanning metrology.

Duration:

3 days (21 hours)

Prerequisites:

Training is only available to customers whose licenses are covered by a valid support/maintenance contract.

Trainees must have completed the basic training course “Basic probing and scanning applications for portable metrology”. Trainees must have basic computer skills (Windows operating systems).

Evaluation methods:

Questionnaires or multiple choice questions are submitted to trainees at different times during the training.
